TheBrooklynWay
Brooklyn Basketball exists to revolutionize youth basketball. Our mission is to develop confident, skilled, and resilient players through a clear, long-term development pathway taught by coaches who lead with purpose, standards, and care.
Built by the Brooklyn Nets and New York Liberty, our curriculum for player development is rooted in how the game is played at it's highest levels.
A Progressive
Development Pathway
The Brooklyn Basketball curriculum is built on a clear, progressive pathway - Rookie, Starter, All-Star, and MVP - each divided into micro-levels so players advance based on skill, decision-making, and readiness, not just age or physical maturity.
Every level is guided by The Brooklyn Way: Care, Growth Mindset, Integrity, and Accountability. These values shape how players train, compete, and grow-on and off the court.
We use a game-based teaching model where players learn by solving real basketball problems. Instead of repetitive drills, coaches design environments that challenge players to think, adapt, and make decisions under pressure - just like in a game.
